Welcome to Rose Street Bed & Breakfast, a restful retreat in the heart of historic Georgetown, Colorado!  Recently named by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as on of America's Dozen Distinctive Destinations, Georgetown is just a short drive west of Denver nestled among some the West's most majestic peaks.

You will find Rose Street Bed & Breakfast located at the foot of the spectacular Guanella Pass Scenic Byway and just a short walk to all that historic Georgetown has to offer.  Located in Georgetown's Historic Residential District the house at 200 Rose Street has graced the corner of 2nd Street and Rose street since the late 1800's.  Built as a "spec house" by a local miner turned builder in 1882 (during Georgetown's silver boom), the house has experienced many ups and downs in sympathy with the towns fortunes!

Paul & Sally Nisler purchased the property in late 2000 and began a painstaking two and a half year restoration with the goal of converting the main house into a Bed & Breakfast.  Doing much of the work themselves, every corner of the house has been restored and furnished with period antiques collected  by the Nisler's over the years.  The result is a "guest friendly" house with the charm of the late Victorian period and all of the comfort and privacy you expect in the 21st Century.

Whether you are celebrating a special occasion, just passing through or using Georgetown as "home base" for your Colorado vacation you are always sure to receive a warm welcome at Rose Street Bed & Breakfast.
