Recently named by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as one of America's Dozen Distinctive Destinations, Georgetown is just a short drive west of Denver, nestled among some of the West's most majestic peaks. You will find Rose Street Bed & Breakfast located at the foot of the spectacular Guanella Pass Scenic Byway and just a short walk to all historic Georgetown has to offer. Located in Georgetown's Historic Residential District, the house at 200 Rose street has graced the corner of 2nd Street and Rose Street since the late 1800's. Built as a "spec house" by a local miner turned builder in 1882 (during Georgetown's silver boom), the house has experienced many ups and downs in sympathy with the town's fortunes.
